Planned Content Overview:
Meeting Notes & Decisions:
Conference Tools
Both conference tools had issues. Decided not to use either.
Gather.Town
Webcam was very pixelated (below 720p) and had a lot of lag that makes it unusable. For what they are charging it should be able to handle more.
There was a lot of lag for spacial operations for 5 people (moving to and away from people, the video feed takes a while to show).
High Fidelity
You can hear voices and keyboards from across the room. A lot of noise. Very poor chatting experience. Gather.town handles this by using a radius to mute people outside the radius.
Can not adjust people’s volumes with the exception of muting.
You can push people and the shift in the screen made two members nauseous.
-
Both Jerry and avoice volunteered to find new conference tools.

Pitch Deck
Sage was not able to get to it this week. Said to get it done by next Wednesday meeting.
Content and Calendly
Went over new content schedulers. Holler commented they are already out of date. Brief overview of Calendly.
Open Floor to Questions & Ideas
Group agreed we need to discuss when and how we will reach out to speakers
Holler asked that the next meeting discuss the ticketing and youtube broadcast system.
Jerry says he is reaching out to different organizations. One of them is a school in Africa teaching blind children how to use a keyboard so they do not have to carry heavy braille books around.
